The
TVM 2002 includes some of the most popular components in this
feature-rich application.
VoicEmail
uses Simple Mail Transport Protocol (SMTP) to deliver a copy of
your voice mail messages to your email giving the user the opportunity to
store and forward messages to any person that has an email address. Because SMTP is the protocol used
on the Internet to deliver email messages, it is supported by all major
email systems including, Exchange, Notes, and Groupwise and
Voice Recognition (optional) allows callers to speak
the name of the person that they are trying to reach. This allows them to
get to their destination quickly without having to remember extension
numbers or waste time with a dial-by-name directory
or automated
attendant.
